About Ms. Arnold
Hi! I grew up in Missouri, and moved to Savannah, Georgia in 2014. I completed my Early Childhood degree at Armstrong State University, and since have completed my Gifted and ESOL Certifications. This is my 6th year teaching at Hesse. I have been lucky enough to teach 4th and 3rd grade and I am back in 4th this year! I love to travel and have been able to go to Europe twice.
I have ridden the Eye in London, been to the top of the Eiffel Tower, inside the Colosseum and studied abroad in the Czech Republic. I have many places on my bucket list such as the Grand Canyon, Australia, Japan, and Europe (again). I also enjoy being outside and exploring nature and cities, really anywhere! I have climbed the 2nd highest mountain in the continental United States, Mt. Elbert in Colorado. After hearing that I hiked Mt. Elbert, my 3rd grade students (2019-2020) inspired me to hike the tallest mountain in each state. I loved this idea!
Two summers ago, I climbed the highest "mountain" in Missouri which was much easier!!
Last summer I hiked, IN THE RAIN, Brasstown Bald, GA; Sassafras Mountain, SC; and Cheaha Mountain, AL.
I spent most of this summer with family and didn't do much traveling. I did take a little mini vacation to Florida to kayak at night to see the bioluminescent algae and go sky diving!
