Learning from Home
Although I miss your students very much, we must make the most of teaching and learning from home. Here are some things that you can do do make learning from home successful.
Come to Class... (virtually)
Coming to school is important, so is coming to virtual class! Whether we meet on Zoom, Google Meet or some other platform, please send your student to class online! Mostly because I miss their faces, but also so that they do not miss important instruction. I will be teaching a lesson each day. These lessons will be in line with their online work, and will help them complete their assignments. |
Designate a spot.
Find a place in your home for students to use for video meetings and classwork. This could be a shared space if you have multiple students. Set up a schedule for students to share the space.

Practice logging on.
While I love helping my students, I don't love being tech support. I am happy to answer questions, but don't like answering the same ones 30 times. You will be receiving log in cards for your student. I will creating help videos, before you or your student calls or emails, watch the videos and if you still can't figure it out, please call or message me through Class Dojo. Be sure to involve your student in this! Some of them may need to log in while you are at work. Students need to be able to log in on their own. |
